Ingredients

1 cup butter
8 ounces extra-sharp cheddar cheese, grated
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 cup pecans, chopped
Preparation

Cream butter and cheese in food processor.
Add flour, salt, and cayenne pepper.
Add pecans.
Roll into balls and flatten with a fork.
Bake on an ungreased cookie sheet at 325 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.
