Banana Bread (Pillsbury'S Recipe) - cooking recipe

3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup margarine or 1/2 cup butter, softened
2 eggs
1 cup mashed ripe banana (2 medium)
1/3 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0F; grease bottom only of 9 x 5 or 8 x 4 inch loaf pan.
In a large bowl, combine the sugar and margarine, and beat until light and fluffy.
Add the eggs and beat well, then add the bananas, milk and vanilla--blending well.
In a small bowl, combine the flour, nuts (if using), baking soda and salt--mix well.
Add to the banana mixture, and stir just until dry ingredients are moistened.
Pour into the prepared pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0F for 50-60 minutes or until tester inserted in center comes out clean.
Cool 5 minutes, then remove from pan.
Wrap and store in refrigerator.
