Ed'S Bourbon Sauce For Grilled Meat - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 tablespoon olive oil
    1 onion, chopped
    1 head of garlic, roasted and squeezed
    1/2 cup Bourbon
    1/2 cup beef stock
    1 tablespoon dry rub seasonings
    2 tablespoons malt vinegar
    1 lemon, juiced
    2 tablespoons butter
    3 tablespoons cane syrup (we use Steen's)
    kosher salt & freshly ground black pepper
Preparation
    In a small skillet, saute the onion in the olive oil until translucent and add the roasted garlic.
    Deglaze the pan with the Bourbon and reduce in half.
    Add the beef stock and reduce in half.
    Add the Steen's cane syrup, lemon juice, vinegar, and salt and pepper.
    Stir well and slowly simmer for about 5 minutes.
    Finish the sauce with the butter and serve immediately.
