Wholesome Peanut Butter Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine
    1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
    1/2 cup sugar
    1/2 cup honey
    1 egg
    1/2 teaspoon vanilla
    1 1/4 cups whole wheat flour (all-purpose may be substituted)
    3/4 teaspoon baking soda
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    1/2 - 3/4 cup chopped macadamia nuts (optional)
    1/2 - 3/4 cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips (optional)
Preparation
    Cream butter, peanut butter, sugar, honey, egg, vanilla.
    Sift together dry ingredients and then blend into creamed mixture.
    Stir in nuts and chocolate chips, if desired.
    Spoon 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes or until lightly brown; do not overbake.
    Cool slightly; remove and place on rack to cool.
