Pat'S Prayer Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cups white sugar
    3 1/2 cups brown sugar
    3 cups crisco butter flavor shortening
    2 teaspoons salt
    3 3/4 teaspoons baking soda
    1 tablespoon vanilla
    1 1/2 cups eggs
    8 cups flour
    24 ounces chocolate chips
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
    Mix shortening, sugars, eggs and vanilla.
    Add dry ingredients.
    Drop by the teaspoon on ungreased cookie sheets.
    Bake for 7 to 8 minutes.
    May be kept in refrigerator for a week or so (if they last that long). Can also be kept frozen before or after baking.
    Makes 15 to 20 dozen cookies depending on the size.
