Classic No-Bean Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 medium onions, chopped
    1/2 green pepper, chopped
    1/2 cup celery, chopped
    1 tablespoon vegetable oil
    1 lb lean ground beef
    3 hot dogs, cut in small pieces
    1 (28 ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained
    0.5 (4 ounce) can tomato sauce
    1/2 cup water
    1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
    1 tablespoon chili powder
    1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
    1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/4 teaspoon pepper
Preparation
    In soup kettle or dutch oven, saute onions, pepper, and celery in oil until tender, about five minutes.
    Add beef and cook until browned, drain.
    Stir in tomatoes, tomato sauce, water, Worcestershire, and seasonings.
    Bring to a boil; reduce heat.
    Cover and simmer for 1-1/2 hours, stir occasionally.
    Add kidney beans if desired.
    Add any additional veggies you have on hand.
