B. C. Apple Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

Batter
1/2 cup sugar
1 1/2 cups flour
1/3 cup margarine
3/4 cup milk
1 egg
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 pinch salt
Topping
1 1/2 cups apples, sliced
1/2 cup brown sugar
3 tablespoons margarine
cinnamon
Preparation

Mix sugar, margarine, egg and milk together.
Combine dry ingredients and add to mixture.
Beat well.
Pour into greased and lightly floured 9\"x9\" cake pan.
Spread apples closely together on top of batter.
Mix margarine and brown sugar and dot over apples.
Sprinkle with cinnamon.
Bake at 350 deg.F for 30-35 minutes.
