Eggless Butterless Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 cup Crisco
    1 pint water (2 cups)
    3 teaspoons cinnamon
    1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
    2 cups sugar
    1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
    1 teaspoon baking soda
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    2 cups raisins
    1 cup pecans
    3 1/2 - 4 cups flour
    1 cup candied cherry
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
    Grease & flour a 9x13-inch baking dish.
    Mix Crisco, water, raisins, and spices. Bring to a boil for ten minute then let cool. Next dissolve 1 teaspoon soda in 1/2 cup boiling water and add to mixture. Add enough flour to make a stiff batter (3 1/2 - 4 cups). Put in the glass baking dish.
    Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes. Test in middle.
