Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 cup cornmeal
    1 cup all-purpose flour
    1/3 cup Splenda sugar substitute
    3 teaspoons baking powder
    3/4 teaspoon salt
    1 cup milk
    1 egg, well beaten
    2 tablespoons shortening, melted
Preparation
    Sift together the cornmeal, flour, Splenda, baking powder, and salt.
    Mix in the milk, egg, and melted shortening.
    Pour mixture into a buttered 8 inch square pan.
    Bake 20 minutes at 425 degrees.
