Nourishing Traditions All-Day Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lbs stewing beef
    1 cup red wine
    4 cups beef stock
    1 (15 ounce) can whole canned tomatoes
    4 tablespoons tomato paste
    6 whole cloves
    1/2 teaspoon black peppercorns
    4 sprigs thyme
    2 garlic cloves, peeled and crushed
    2 small piece orange peel
    1 lb baby carrots
Preparation
    Marinate meat in red wine overnight.
    Place all engredients except for potatoes and carrots in crock pot set to medium.
    Cook for 12 hours.
    Add carrots and potatoes 3 hours before serving.
    Season to taste.
