Ingredients

2 eggs, beaten
1 cup self raising flour
1/2 cup sugar
1 drop vanilla essence
1 pinch salt
115 g butter
3/4 cup of chopped dates or 3/4 cup sultana
corn flakes
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar together.
Add beaten eggs to the above mix then add the rest of the ingredients except for the corn flakes.
Mix well.
Drop teaspoons of mix into corn flakes to cover then bake for 15 minutes or until lightly brown.
