Southwestern Chicken Wontons - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 cups chopped cooked chicken
1/2 cup finely chopped red bell pepper
1 (1 1/4 ounce) envelope taco seasoning mix
12 ounces monterey jack pepper cheese, shredded
3 tablespoons salsa
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
50 wonton wrappers
Preparation

In a mixing bowl, combine first 7 ingredients; stir.
Place 1 teaspoon of mixture in center of each wonton wrapper. Moisten wonton wrapper edges with water. Bring corners together, pressing to seal.
In a Dutch oven, pour oil to a 2-inch depth and heat to 350\u00b0. Fry wontons in batches until golden, turning once. Drain on paper towels. Serve immediately.
