Hucklebucks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    Cookie
    3/4 cup shortening
    2 eggs
    3/4 cup cocoa
    1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
    1 1/2 cups sugar
    3 cups all-purpose flour
    3 teaspoons baking powder
    3/4 teaspoon salt
    1 1/2 cups milk
    Filling
    1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
    1/8 teaspoon salt
    1 tablespoon milk
    3/4 cup butter
    2 cups powdered sugar
    1 cup marshmallow creme
Preparation
    Preheat over to 400 degrees.
    Cream together shortening, eggs, cocoa, 1 1/2 tsp vanilla and sugar.
    Sift together flour, baking powder and 3/4 tsp salt.
    Add 1 1/2 cups milk to cocoa mixture alternating with dry ingredients.
    Mix well after each addition until batter is smooth.
    Drop by tablespoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets.
    Bake at 400 degrees for 7-8 minutes; cool.
    Blend together filling ingredients; spread on the bottom of a cookie and top with another.
    Store in an air-tight container.
