Sugar-Free Raisin Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cup raisins
    1/2 cup water
    1/4 cup margarine
    1 teaspoon cinnamon
    1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
    1 cup all-purpose flour
    1 large egg, lightly beaten
    3/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
    artificial sweetener, equivalent to 1 tablespoon sugar
    1 teaspoon baking soda
    1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preparation
    In a saucepan over medium heat, cook raisins, water, margarine, cinnamon and nutmeg until margarine is melted; continue cooking for 3 minutes.
    Cool.
    Add all remaining ingredients and mix well.
    Spread into an 8-inch square pan coated with nonstick cooking spray.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20-25 minutes or until lightly browned.
