Brown Sugar Peanut Butter Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 cup butter or 3/4 cup margarine, softened
    3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
    1/4 cup sugar
    1/2 cup creamy peanut butter or 1/2 cup crunchy peanut butter
    1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
    1 egg
    1/2 teaspoon baking soda
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    1 1/2 cups flour
Preparation
    Cream butter, sugars and peanut butter.
    Add vanilla and eggs, beat until fluffy.
    Stir in soda and salt.
    Mix in flour until a stiff dough forms.
    Shape into walnut-sized balls.
    Place on lightly greased cookie sheets.
    Press with a fork to flatten.
    (Criss-cross) Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes or until light golden brown.
