World'S Best Spinach Dip - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    16 ounces sour cream
    8 ounces cream cheese, softened
    12 ounces fresh spinach, washed and drained very well
    1 (8 ounce) envelope Lipton Onion Soup Mix
    1/2 red onion, peeled and chopped
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients together.
    I add the spinach last because it gives the cream cheese longer to soften, making it easier to stir.
    Cover and chill in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
