Banana Berry Jam - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 ounces fresh cranberries, chopped (3 cups)
    1 1/2 cups water
    7 cups sugar
    2 cups mashed bananas
    liquid fruit pectin
Preparation
    Combine cranberries and water in a large saucepan. Simmer, covered, 10
    minutes. Add sugar and banana.
    Boil hard 1 minute. Remove from heat.
    Stir in pectin. Skim off foam.
    Spoon into prepared half pint jars leaving 1/4 inch headspace.
    Wipe jars, adjust lids. Process in a boiling water bath for 10 minutes. Adjust time according to your altitude.
