Fresh Raspberry Jam - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 cups fresh raspberries
    3 cups sugar
Preparation
    Combine the raspberries with the sugar in a large saucepan.
    Cook over high heat, stirring constantly until a jam thermometer (or candy thermometer) reaches 230*-240*F, the soft-ball stage.
    Ladle the jam into hot, sterilized jars and seal.
