Homemade Syrup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 cups white sugar
    1/2 cup brown sugar
    2 cups water
    2 teaspoons maple extract or 2 teaspoons flavoring
Preparation
    Mix the water with the two sugars.
    Simmer for 15 minutes.
    Remove from heat, and stir in maple flavoring.
    This may form crystals but can be reheated.
    Does not need to be refrigerated.
