Pareve Cholent - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 cup dry kidney beans
1/2 cup dry white beans
1/2 cup barley
2 large potatoes, peeled and cubed
1 large sweet potato, peeled and cubed
1 large onion, cut into chunks
2 cloves garlic, minced
2/3 cup ketchup
1/4 cup barbeque sauce
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 teaspoons garlic powder
2 teaspoons onion powder
2 teaspoons paprika
2 teaspoons ground black pepper
1 tablespoon salt
4 cups water, or more as needed to cover
Preparation

Place kidney beans, white beans, barley, potatoes, sweet potato, onion, garlic, ketchup, barbeque sauce, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, pepper, salt, and water in a slow cooker. Mix well. Cook on High for 3 hours, then reduce heat to Low and continue cooking overnight until the beans are tender.
