Stuffed Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    1 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. chili powder
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    2 cans tomato soup
    1/2 lb. or 1 c. grated sharp cheese
    1 1/2 c. cooked rice or Minute rice
    8 peppers
Preparation
    Cook until meat is brown.
    Add onion, garlic, chili powder, salt and pepper.
    Add tomato soup.
    Simmer for 10 minutes.
    Add sharp cheese.
    Cook slowly until cheese is melted.
    Add rice. Cool.
    Cut peppers lengthwise, remove seeds.
    Boil in water for 3 minutes.
    Remove and drain.
    Cool slightly.
    Stuff with filling and bake at 400\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
