Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 to 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    2 medium onions, chopped
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    2 (16 oz.) cans tomatoes
    2 (16 oz.) cans red kidney beans, drained
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 tsp. oregano
    2 green peppers, chopped
    1 c. celery, chopped
    1/3 c. parsley, chopped
    2 Tbsp. chili powder
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 or 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    2 bay leaves
Preparation
    Saute onions and garlic in hot oil.
    When tender, add beef and brown.
    Then add all other ingredients.
    Simmer, covered, about 2 hours.
    Serves 8.
