Carrot Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (1 lb.) pkg. carrots
    1 small onion
    1/4 c. butter
    1/4 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. celery seed
    1/2 lb. Velveeta cheese
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    2 c. milk
    bread or cracker crumbs
Preparation
    Pre-boil sliced raw carrots for 15 minutes.
    Saute onion in butter; set aside.
    Prepare white sauce in the usual way.
    Layer carrots, which have been mixed with onion and white sauce, alternately with chunks of Velveeta.
    Sprinkle with buttered cracker or bread crumbs.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
