Candied Yams - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 small yams
    1/4 c. honey
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    1/4 c. butter or oleo
    1/4 c. hot water
Preparation
    Cook yams in boiling salted water; peel and cut in halves lengthwise.
    Place pieces in greased baking dish.
    Cook honey, sugar, butter or margarine and hot water together for 5 minutes. Pour syrup over yams and bake in a moderately hot oven (375\u00b0) about 20 minutes or until browned.
    Makes 6 servings.
