Paul'S Black-On-Black Vegetarian Chili(Makes 10 Servings) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. dried black beans
    6 oz. ripe olives, pitted
    1 red onion
    4 jalapeno peppers
    4 Tbsp. oregano
    1 tsp. salt
    28 oz. crushed tomatoes
    1 yellow onion
    2 c. pitted prunes
    2 Tbsp. cumin powder
    1 tsp. garlic powder
    1 tsp. cayenne pepper
Preparation
    Soak beans according to package directions overnight or \"quick soak.\"
    Drain and rinse.
    Combine the beans in a heavy pot with the black olives and the crushed tomatoes, including any liquid that they come packed in.
    Add water to the level of the beans, but not to cover.
