Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. all purpose flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 c. vegetable shortening
    2 c. sugar
    2 c. mashed ripe bananas (4 or 5)
    3 large eggs, lightly beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts or pecans
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350.
    Spray bottoms only of two 8 1/2 X 4 1/2 inch loaf pans with non-stick cooking spray.
    Combine four, salt, and baking soda in small bowl.
    In a mixing bowl, combine shortening, sugar, mashed bananas, eggs, nuts, and vanilla extract, beating until well blended.
    Add flour mixture and stir just until moistened.
    Pour into prepared pan.
    Bake 60-70 minutes or until toothpick inserted pulls out clean.
    Remove pan from oven.
    Cool 10 minutes and remove from pan.
    Cool on wire rack.
