Chilled Green Chili Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. chicken stock
    1/4 c. minced onion
    3 oz. softened cream cheese
    1 c. sour cream
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 cans dried green chilies
    1/4 tsp. ground cumin
    1 tsp. minced garlic
    1 c. heavy cream
Preparation
    Bring stock and onion to boil.
    Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes.
    Cool.
    Blend cream cheese and sour cream in medium bowl. Add green chilies, cumin and garlic.
    Stir in stock, heavy cream and salt.
    Transfer to blender in batches and process until smooth.
    Cover and chill until ready to serve.
