Ingredients

1 c. shortening
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 c. sour cream (1/2 pt.)
1 tsp. baking soda
4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. vanilla
5 to 5 1/2 c. flour
Preparation

Beat shortening, sugar and eggs well.
Add remaining ingredients.
Make soft dough.
Refrigerate 1 hour.
