Mashed Yams With Carrots And Apples - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 large yams, peeled and cut into cubes
    3 carrots, scraped and sliced thinly
    1/2 c. pitted prunes
    1 c. water
    2 apples, peeled, cored and cubed
Preparation
    Put yams, carrots, prunes, and water in a saucepan.
    Bring to a boil, cover, and simmer for 25 minutes, or until tender.
