Hobo Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. shredded cabbage
    2 c. peeled, sliced potatoes
    2 c. carrots, sliced
    1 lb. hamburger
    1/2 lb. smoked sausage
    2 c. water
    salt
    pepper
    ketchup
Preparation
    Place 2 cups cabbage in greased, large casserole dish.
    Layer potatoes, carrots and rest of cabbage.
    Place hamburger in patties on layered vegetables.
    Cut sausage into 2-inch strips.
    Arrange between patties.
    Pour water in.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
    Cover top of layered vegetables and meat with ketchup.
    Cover and bake 45 minutes or until done at 375\u00b0.
