Christmas Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. brown sugar
    1 stick butter
    1 c. evaporated milk
    7 oz. marshmallow cream
    2 pkg. caramel chips
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. pecans, chopped
Preparation
    Combine first 3 ingredients.
    Cook to 238\u00b0 on candy thermometer (soft ball).
    Stir in marshmallow cream and beat until mixture is very thick (about 8 minutes).
    Add remaining ingredients and beat well.
    Pour into greased pan and let stand until firm.
    Cut into squares with sharp, warm knife.
