Roman Holiday Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/2 lb. hot Italian sausage, cut in 1/2-inch slices
    1 c. chopped onion
    2 tsp. crushed oregano
    1 can Cheddar cheese soup
    1 can tomato soup
    1 c. water
    4 c. cooked wide noodles
    4 slices Cheddar cheese, cut in half diagonally
Preparation
    Brown beef, sausage and onion, stirring to separate lumps; drain off fat.
    Add soups, water and oregano.
    Cool meat mixture slightly.
    Mix with the noodles and chill overnight.
    Pour into a 10 x 10-inch baking dish.
    Cover.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 40 minutes or until hot.
    Top with cheese.
    Leave in oven until cheese melts. Serves 6 to 8.
