Italian Pasta Cookie(Biscotta Di Pasta) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or margarine
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 c. flour
    powdered sugar
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Cream butter, sugar, vanilla and salt until
    fluffy.
    Stir in flour until well blended.
    Chill dough for 30 minutes or until firm enough to handle.
    Shape in 1-inch
    log shapes and place 1-inch apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake until
    lightly
    golden,
    approximately
    12 to 15 minutes.
    While cookies
    are
    still
    warm,
    sift heavily with powdered
    sugar. Cool
    completely
    before storing in airtight container.
    Makes about 30 cookies.
