Poor Man'S Cabbage Pickles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 large heads cabbage
2 1/2 lb. onions
1 bunch celery
3 bell peppers (red, if possible)
1 qt. vinegar
5 lb. sugar
1 Tbsp. salt
1 box pickling spice, tied in a cloth
1 qt. prepared mustard
Preparation

Grind cabbage, onions, celery and bell peppers (or use food processor).
Mix 1 tablespoon salt and 1 cup flour with mustard and enough water to make a paste (not too thick).
Stir into pickles real good to thicken.
Simmer for about 10 minutes.
Put into jars that have been sterilized and seal.
These are almost as good as artichoke pickles.
