Banana Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. sugar
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
3/4 c. Post Grape-Nuts flakes cereal
1/2 c. milk
1 egg, beaten
1 c. mashed ripe bananas
2 Tbsp. oil or melted shortening
Preparation

Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
Stir in cereal. Blend milk, egg and bananas.
Add shortening.
Add flour mixture, stirring just until all flour is moistened.
Pour into greased 9 x 5-inch loaf pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour or until cake tester inserted in center comes out clean.
Cool in pan 10 minutes. Remove from pan and finish cooling on rack.
