Olive Dip - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. walnut or pecans
1 (12 oz.) jar pimiento-stuffed green olives, drained (reserve the juice)
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened and cut into cubes
1/2 c. mayonnaise or salad dressing
Preparation

Place nuts in processing bowl of a food processor.
Grind until the nuts are finely chopped.
Transfer to mixing bowl. Place the drained olives in the food processor; grind.
Put the olives on top of the nuts in mixing bowl.
Place cream cheese and mayonnaise in food processor; blend well.
While processor is running, add olive juice and blend well.
Add cream cheese mixture to nuts and olives.
Stir to blend.
Refrigerate until served. Serve with assorted crackers.
Yield:
2 cups.
