Cherry Pecan Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 loaf frozen bread dough
    1/2 c. chopped maraschino cherries
    1/2 tsp. cherry extract
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Thaw and soften dough.
    Cut 16 slashes across loaf 1/2-inch apart, almost to bottom of dough.
    Combine cherries, extract and nuts.
    Set aside 2 tablespoons of mixture for topping.
    Spoon 1 teaspoon of mixture into each cut.
    Press loaf together and place in greased loaf pan.
    Sprinkle with reserved topping.
    Cover pan; let rise until double.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
    Cool on wire rack before trying to slice it.
