No Bake Fruitcake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. undiluted evaporated milk
    1/3 c. apple juice
    6 c. miniature marshmallows
    4 3/4 c. crushed vanilla wafers (14 1/2 oz.)
    2 1/2 c. crushed gingersnaps (7 1/2 oz.)
    2 c. broken pecans
    1 c. seedless raisins (optional)
    1 c. mixed candied fruit
    1 c. halved candied cherries
Preparation
    Pour milk and apple juice over marshmallows and let stand 3 hours.
    Stir occasionally.
    Combine crushed vanilla wafers and gingersnaps, nuts, raisins, fruit and cherries in a large bowl. Add marshmallow mixture and mix well.
    Pour into a foil lined 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
    Cover top with foil.
    Refrigerate 3 to 4 days before slicing.
    If desired, decorate with candied cherries and almonds.
    Store, covered, in refrigerator.
