Mami Eisenhower'S Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 1/2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    dash of salt
    1 tall can evaporated milk
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
    3 (4 oz.) pkg. sweet cooking chocolate, broken
    1 pt. marshmallow cream
    2 c. chopped walnuts or pecans
Preparation
    Combine sugar, butter, salt and milk in large saucepan.
    Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
    Boil 6 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Combine chocolate, marshmallow cream and nuts in a mixing bowl.
    Pour syrup over chocolate and beat until chocolate is melted.
    Turn into a well-greased 13 x 9 x 2 pan. Cool several hours or until firm.
    Cut into squares and store in an airtight container.
    Makes about 5 pounds.
