Ingredients

1 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 Tbsp. grated orange rind
1 Tbsp. orange juice
2 1/4 c. plain flour
1 tsp. baking powder
pinch of salt
1 c. nuts, chopped
Preparation

Mix and shape into rolls.
Chill or freeze.
Slice in 1/4-inch thick slices.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 15 to 17 minutes.
