Apecian Carrots - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    20 large carrots (3 to 4 lb.)
    1 c. port wine
    1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 c. butter, melted
    1 1/2 c. brown sugar
Preparation
    Clean the carrots.
    Preheat oven to 250\u00b0.
    In a skillet, cook the carrots in the wine and enough water to cover.
    Boil the carrots until tender.
    Remove carrots to a shallow baking dish. Combine the Worcestershire, butter and brown sugar.
    Pour over the carrots and turn to coat. Bake for 15 minutes. Serves 10 to 15 people.
