Cheese Scalloped Carrots - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 carrots, pared and cut into 2-inch lengths, then quarters
    1/2 c. butter
    1/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    1 large onion
    2 c. milk
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/4 tsp. celery salt
    1/2 lb. Velveeta cheese, sliced
    2 c. fresh buttered bread crumbs
Preparation
    Cook carrots, then drain.
    Saute sliced onion in butter.
    Stir in flour, salt, mustard, then milk.
    Cook, stirring until smooth. Add pepper and celery salt.
    In a 2-quart casserole dish, layer carrots and cheese, then repeat.
    Pour sauce over all.
    Top with bread crumbs.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
    Serves 6 to 8.
