No Cook Mint Patties - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. light corn syrup
    1/4 c. butter, softened
    1 tsp. peppermint extract
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 lb. sifted powdered sugar (4 3/4 c.)
    1 drop red or green food coloring
Preparation
    Blend corn syrup, butter, peppermint and salt.
    Add sugar. Mix until smooth.
    Knead food coloring in.
    Shape into small balls.
    Flatten with fork on wax paper that's lining baking sheet. Let dry.
    Makes 72.
