Shirley'S Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. water
    1 can crushed pineapple
    1 large pkg. apricot Jell-O
    8 oz. softened cream cheese
    8 oz. Cool Whip
    1 c. diced celery
    1 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Bring to a boil sugar, water and pineapple.
    Add Jell-O.
    Mix and let set until partially set.
    Add cheese, Cool Whip, celery and walnuts.
    Chill.
