Pumpkin Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. margarine
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1 c. pumpkin, mashed
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. chocolate bits
1 c. chopped nuts (optional)

Preparation

Cream margarine and sugar.
Beat in egg, pumpkin and vanilla. Mix rest of dry ingredients together.
Add to pumpkin mixture. Add bits and nuts.
Drop by teaspoon on greased sheet.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
