Ten-Minute Bran Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. 100% bran or all-bran
    1 c. skim milk
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    1/4 c. sugar
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 egg
    1/4 c. vegetable oil (canola)
    1/2 c. raisins
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
    In a large bowl, stir together the cereal and milk; let stand for 5 minutes.
    In small bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt; set aside. Add egg and oil to bran; beat ingredients to blend.
    Add flour mixture; stir ingredients until combined.
    Fold in raisins.
    Bake for 20 minutes.
    Makes 12 muffins.
