Addie Lou Weaver'S Scalloped Oysters - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    crushed saltine crackers
    2 c. half and half milk, scalded
    butter (not margarine)
    1 pt. standard oysters
Preparation
    Layer crackers in deep baking dish; add layer of oysters, salt and pepper.
    Add butter over oysters generously.
    Keep layering until dish is full, ending with crackers.
    Add hot milk.
    Cook in 375\u00b0 to 400\u00b0 oven about 30 minutes or until crackers are slightly brown.
    Serve as soon as done.
