Shoo-Fly Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. flour
    1 c. shortening
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. molasses
    2 c. hot water
    1 Tbsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix flour, shortening, salt and sugar.
    Save 1 cup of crumbs for top.
    Then add the molasses, hot water and baking soda.
    Mix together with the flour.
    Put into a greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Put topping on cake and put in oven.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes or longer.
