Chicken With Wild Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 whole fryers or 3 to 4 breasts
    1 c. water
    1 c. sherry or red wine
    salt
    1/2 tsp. curry
    1 medium onion
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    1 lb. fresh mushrooms
    1/2 c. butter
    2 (6 oz.) pkg. Uncle Ben's long grain wild rice
    1 c. sour cream
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
Preparation
    Cook chicken in water, wine, salt, curry, onion and celery for 1 hour.
    Strain and reserve juice.
    Debone chicken.
    Saute mushrooms in butter. Cook rice according to box, using reserved juice plus water as needed.
    Mix chicken, rice and mushrooms together. Add sour cream and mushroom soup.
    Pour into 3-quart baking dish. Bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0, uncovered.
    Serves 12 to 16 people.
