Chili Con Queso Dip - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. diced green pepper
    1 small clove garlic, crushed
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 Tbsp. butter
    2 medium size tomatoes, diced
    1 small can chopped green chilies or hot peppers
    1 lb. processed American cheese
Preparation
    Saute in butter the green pepper, garlic and onion.
    Add diced, ripe tomatoes and chilies.
    Mix thoroughly.
    While this mixture is cooking slowly, grate cheese and melt in top of double boiler.
    When melted, add the other ingredients to the cheese and blend well.
    Serve in a chafing dish or in a preheated bowl with chips or crackers for dipping.
